I was going through my binder from my internship in a grade 2 class and I found this conversation that I had jotted down after the first time I met my students:
Student: "What's your real name?"
Me: "Miss Greer."
Student: "No, your real name!"
Me: "That is my real name."
Student: "No, like what your kids call you... If you have kids."
Me: "I don't have kids. And if I did, they'd probably call me Mom."
Student: "That's true..."
Man, I miss those kids.
Man, I miss those kids.
That is so cute. You know, I actually still remember grade 2. Such a wonderful time of life...
