On Day 7 of my vacation in Boracay, I went snorkelling and it was probably one of the best experiences of my life.
We went out on a glass bottom boat and stopped over some coral.
So it turns out snorkelling isn't the most attractive activity.
Anyone who wanted to go snorkelling could and I almost didn't go. No particular reason, I just thought, 'Maybe I won't.' I'm so glad I did; I was one of the last people out of the water.
It was so peaceful and beautiful. I can't describe the feeling of having schools of fish swim under me. I suppose it would be the same, and different, for everyone. (Does that make sense?)
Some of the fish were so colourful. Blues and pinks and greens and yellows and blacks and whites and silvers. All kinds of combinations.
Have you ever almost not done something you really wanted to do?
(All photos except the first two were taken by another teacher with a waterproof camera.)
