this weekend was a good one.
I slept in. I video chatted with my dad. Tony and I shared frozen yogurt and we had bubble tea twice. We finished House of Cards (And are disappointed we have to wait until 2015 for the next season. 2015!). We went to hot pot with friends. We watched Seven and The Good Son. I finished reading The Lowland. I facetimed with Cara. We went grocery shopping in the rain. We ate broccoli and beans and dumplings. I called my uncle and almost sang "Happy Birthday" to him. We cooked breakfast and took selfies. I read blogs. We barbecued with friends — mmm, steak and veggie kebabs. Alanna and I made our own blueberry ale (Tsingtao + frozen blueberries = better than I thought it'd be).
I caught myself a couple of times complaining that we wasted the weekend, that we were too lazy, that we didn't do anything. But looking back, I know this weekend was a good one. A really good one. We laughed and we slept and we ate and we were happy. Yup, good.
