currently.

Struggling with a cold that has lasted for a week.

Wishing I had Vicks VapoRub.

Appreciating my tiny couch and scavenged blanket.

Making my way through the entire series of Dawson's Creek. I haven't watched it since high school and wondered what I'd think of it now that I'm older (and hopefully wiser).

Listening to "Ho Hey" by The Lumineers. It's the last thing I listen to at night and the first thing I listen to in the morning.

Reading Portia de Rossi's Unbearable Lightness.

Feeling brave for posting this photo of myself, sick and sans makeup. But it's me, right now.

Missing home. Maybe it's because I'm sick, but I'm definitely missing home a bit more this week.

Drinking more water. Having a water cooler in your living room means there's no excuse not to.

Realizing I'll need to buy a coat sooner rather than later.

Getting excited that I have a week off beginning tomorrow at 3:30PM.

Wondering when I'll cave and buy the new Mumford & Sons album.

Learning Mandarin one word and phrase at a time.

Telling myself it's okay to say no.

Loving every single message, e-mail, tweet, and comment from friends and family.

(This post was inspired by Ali Edwards, who is excellent at capturing life.)

  3. I bet you're feeling a bit homesick being sick. I know when I get sick I still wish I was little and had my mommy to take care of me.

Let me know what you think of Unbearable Lightness (I read it already)
Just finished a book you might enjoy (The 100 Year Old Man Who Climbed out the Window and Disappeared <- or something like that lol)

    Feel better soon!
