"The Happy Mood"
by Florence Jacobs
"The happy mood --
it's lovely, and it's mine,
and I shall not expose it
to the wind, the weather
or the world's comments;
in a green-edged corner
of my heart I'll enclose it
with mist and moonbeams...
and it needn't make sense!"
I memorized that poem about 30 years ago. I thought I'd do a search to see what came up and found it here.
ReplyDeleteI love it still. Thanks.
