happy friday!

This week was busy, but it was also semi-relaxing, which is a nice combination. Here are some of the things that made me happy:

+ I am officially finished my BEd! My last class (Elementary Music) was Monday night and we took the photo above when it ended. It's hard to believe I spent so much time in that building over the last ten months.

+ To celebrate being done, a big group of us went to Mexicali Rosa's for Margarita Monday. It was my first time going, and while I don't like chains as much as independent restaurants, the food and drinks were delicious.

+ Sherry, Kathleen, Stephanie, Nadine, and I went to The Coffee Mill for breakfast Tuesday morning. It will be our last time hanging out in our group of 5 for a long while.

+ I went to Snooty Fox with another group of friends Wednesday night. It will probably be my last half price app night for a long time so I couldn't not go. I ordered a Raspberry Wheat Ale and after only one sip I decided I liked it.

+ Being able to wake up without an alarm this week was nice.

+ I helped Sherry's boyfriend and his roommate move yesterday. Colton and Adam are moving downtown and I'm so jealous of their new apartment. It has a lot of character and the location is great! They probably thought I was a dork for getting so excited about their mail slot and doorbell.

+ While we were moving, Sherry and I couldn't stop talking about books, the sky, and life in general. It's been a while since I've had a conversation like that and it made me really, really happy.

+ Also while we were moving, we decided we should eat something and Adam suggested we go to Relish for a burger. I was also probably a little too excited about this but I hadn't been there in a long time and didn't think I'd be able to before I left.

+ I'm headed to Sussex today for my best friend's wedding! I'm one of Tiffy's bridesmaids and I'm so excited to see her and Keith get married and to celebrate with them!

What made you happy this week?

P.S. Yes, I ate out a lot this week and no, I am not proud of it. I'm letting it go though because it was a special week what with finishing university, moving, and saying goodbye to so many friends.
