hello, monday.

I'm linking up with Lisa to say hello:

Hello, To Do list. I managed to cross off about half of the items by Sunday night.

Hello, Friday night phone calls from Cara and Meredith. I was so surprised!

Hello, snowstorm. Perfect weather for staying in and hanging out with my roommates. We made popcorn chicken bowls and watched Father of the Bride I and II.

Hello, blueberries. They make regular appearances at breakfast and I don't see myself getting tired of them any time soon.

Hello, carrots and hummus, my new favourite snack.

Hello, sore abs, legs, and glutes. I began Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred on Friday. Ouch.

Hello, homework date with Melissa. We went to Starbucks, of course.

Hello, Goodreads. I finally joined. And then I spent over an hour browsing titles and rating books I've read.

Hello, supper and board games at a friend's house. We played Taboo, Bible Mad Gab, and Break the Safe. And we enjoyed our own individual caramel apple dips. (Thank you, Annie!)

Hello, Sunday Supper. Spaghetti, caesar salad, and "Kate Monsters." I was in food heaven.

Hello, remembering words of wisdom: "Deadlines are important. Life is, too."

What are you saying hello to?

P.S. The photos are from my Instagram feed.

  1. I hadn't heard of the "30 Day Shred." Would you recommend it? Note: I am a "limp spaghetti noodle" on the fitness scale.

    1. Hi Gabriella,

I would definitely recommend it. I am only 4 days in but I love it so far. I'm in okay shape but have never been a "regular" exerciser. It was just this month that I began running regularly and I wanted to add some other exercises to the mix, particularly strength. The "30 Day Shred" has 3 levels so it's good for beginners who want to progress at their own pace. You definitely have to push yourself though; it may only be a 20 minute workout but you're sore afterwards!

If you're wondering anything else, feel free to email me!

    2. Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving that post. Okay, I think I am going to Amazon.com it and purchase a copy. Excited (and nervous) already!
