my favourite Christmas songs.
I love Christmas music. Absolutely love it! The first time I blasted Christmas music this year was October 30th. (It was the first snow, give me a break!) And I agree with Buddy: "The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear!"
In no particular order, here are 15 of my favourite Christmas songs:
1. The Little Drummer Boy
2. Jingle Bell Rock
3. Hula Hoop (I can't help it; it makes me feel like a kid again!)
4. The Holly and the Ivy
5. Waiting for Christmas to Come
6. Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas
7. Baby, It's Cold Outside (I like this version by Anne Murray and Michael Bublé.)
8. Believe
9. Christmas (Baby, Please Come Home) (The version by Cher and Rosie O'Donnell often gets stuck in my head. Unfortunately, I only know one or two lines.)
10. Have a Holly Jolly Christmas
11. I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas (This is one of my Nan's favourites, too.)
12. Rocking Around the Christmas Tree
13. Snoopy's Christmas
14. Angels We Have Heard On High
15. Winter Wonderland
I had this all ready to be posted and then I realized I had to add one more: O Come All Ye Faithful. It is such a beautiful song and I can't help but sing along every time I hear it.
It was SO hard to narrow down my list of favourite Christmas songs! I could have added quite a few more! Tell me, what are your favourites?

Hula Hoop? I don't think I know that one... Carol of the Bells is my all time fave. And O Holy Night, of course!
ReplyDeleteIt's from Alvin and the Chipmunks! (The TV show, not the movies). O Holy Night is a good one, too!
