Elise posted this gem back in September. I nodded in agreement when I saw it and have been repeating it to myself ever since. Especially lately.
I repeat it to myself when I wake up, while I'm showering, while I'm brushing my teeth. I repeat it to myself while I'm walking to school, while I'm preparing lesson plans, while I'm walking home. I repeat it to myself as I'm cooking supper, while I'm getting ready for bed, and as I'm falling asleep.
I guess you could say it's become my mantra. Do you have a mantra? What is it?
"As a single footstep will not make a path on the earth, so a single thought will not make a pathway in the mind. To make a deep physical path, we walk again and again. To make a deep mental path, we must think over and over the kind of thoughts we wish to dominate our lives."

(Of course this is something you already know, but I think it's a worthwhile affirmation. Keep repeating the kind of thoughts you wish to dominate your life, my friend.)
I love this, Cara. Thank you. It's a wonderful reminder.
