happy friday!

Last week, I posted about some things that had made me happy. I've decided I'm going to try to do this every Friday because happiness should be celebrated and shared. I hope you'll join the celebration!

Some happiness from this week:

Eating a piece of the fresh-from-the-oven, still warm, strawberry rhubarb pie my roomie made. (It was her first time baking a pie and it was delicious!)

A phone call from one of my best friends, letting me know she's engaged! (Congrats, Tiffy and Keith!)

Playing a fun, interactive game in my math class. (I was happy no one asked me a question relating to fractions!)

Someone noticing how happy I was on Wednesday.

A reLiSH date with one of my roomies. (I had the Harvest Jazz burger - so good!)

The burger was followed by a run, during which I swallowed a bug. The bug is not the happy part. The happy part is that I even went for a run, and that I ran longer than I ever have before!

Watching last night's episode of Big Brother with another of my roomies. We each grabbed a blanket and got comfy on the couch to see the action unfold. (What unfolded didn't make me happy but I won't spoil anything in case you haven't watched it yet).

And, a video showing that fashion can be fun! (It makes me want to dress up and dance!)

What made you happy this week?

  1. My happiness this week was having my hubby come home from working out of town. Life is only right when we are all together.
Good job on the running! I know exactly how you feel when your stamina increases. I just took up running this summer and I am hooked. Happy weekend.

  2. So glad you and your husband are together this weekend :)

I enjoy running. Just not looking forward to winter because I like running outside.

  3. I very much enjoy how you appreciate the small things in life. We should all reflect on it more then what we do. This is what I love about you!

What made me happy this week...

My best friend expressing so much love and excitement when I announced my engagement. It topped everyone I announced it to :) It also really makes me look forward to her playing such a big part in my wedding. She will never get cut!

This weekend my parents surprised me and my fiance with an engagement BBQ party. His parents came, my aunt and uncle and a few other family members. It makes me look forward to our future together, especially knowing our parents get along so well. This is something that is really important to me.

This was my first week back to work in four months. It was wonderful to be welcomed back by friendly and familiar faces!

    ..that pie looks delicious!

  4. Tiffy, it sounds like you had a great weekend! That makes me so happy!
