I should know by now that none of us are alone in our feelings, but it feels like it sometimes, doesn't it?
Emma was just featured in The New York Times: "If depression was the hallmark of the Gen-Xers, [her mother] added, 'anxiety belongs to the Millennials. They are worried life isn't going to work.'"
Yup. Definitely not alone.
This applies to teens as well. I love the graphic talking about trying to be accepted & understood along with unique. I think this is the hallmark of getting through high school.
ReplyDeleteIt does feel as though we are alone when we have these feelings but sharing how we feel always helps connect us to the others in the world who know what we are going through.
